Dad remembers inviting Jean and Richard to a dinner party at Mill Lane. Steph responded to a knock at the door to be greeted by Tricky wearing the biggest “Dickhead” hat ever! Mum and Dad got married Sept 1977. Jean was bridesmaid and her parting shots were “I don’t envy you one little but, being married and all that!”. We’ve heard today that Richard sent a message back saying that he had met the lady he was going to marry, within months Jean and Richard married too.
