From Paul Wilson 8th June 2011

Before meeting Richard for the first time I was told that you had warned Milly that Richard was an acquired taste. I obviously did not know what to expect but I must have acquired the taste from a distance because we were immediately at ease and I liked his company from "the off". Richard was extraordinary, a natural raconteur who was never short of an appropriate or sometimes not so appropriate story or joke for the occasion! He was blessed with a lively mind and wit that will be missed by all who knew him. He has left a void that will be difficult to fill but there all the good times and happy memories to recall and sustain you. Please accept my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy my thoughts are with you.
