I cannot describe how sad we were to hear of the news of Richard’s passing. We are very grateful that you thought of getting in touch to let us know. We knew he had not been well in recent times but did not realise how seriously. You must all be devastated and miss him so much. He is – can’t say was – such a tremendous character that truly lit up a room and not someone anyone who ever knew him could forget. We too have such great memories of the times we spent in each other’s company and only regret that we had not kept in closer touch. Rob will say a mass for Richard, if that is ok with you.
